Change Comes To Us All
News for TPL Productions fans and customers- The CEO and owner, Orb Gettarr, has decided to step down and close the doors of Tetragrammaton Productions Ltd. after 11 years of doing business online.
In the current economy, a lot of small businesses are hardest hit by the financial crunch the U.S. is currently experiencing, and TPL Studio is no exception.
Coupled with the financial distress is Orb's growing discontent with an ambient 'industry' that appears to be following in the footsteps of the major record labels- no surprise then that the elitists have found another foothold and locked the doors against the newcomers who don't go through the 'proper channels'.
Orb would like to assure everyone who uses his music on Opsound.org that new homes will be found for each of the links. In fact, disposition of the existing catalogue will be turned over to fellow producer and compatriot M. Avery Mann, who will provide hosting for the songs that are currently on the site which is set to expire in April of 2012.
Orb would like to thank all of you who supported him in the past, and those who continue to show support will not be disappointed- the albums that have been released thus far will still be available on Mr. Mann's website, which is in the process of development.
